The only other cure for it not working is to return it and consider a different reader on this scx35xx v2.0 usb sc reader driver. If scx35xx v2.0 usb sc reader driver are going to purchase a CAC reader, and have a Mac, we recommend the SCR-3310 v2 aboveor SCR-3500 below. Patrionics CAC reader iMAC submitted 1 year ago by nytovaok 91BREAKFAST i'm having trouble getting this thing working. Any iMac cac users out there that can give me a hand? I followed the instructions in the booklet but can't seem to get anything working. Safari nor chrome re working. I have el cap 10.11.6 and the patrionics ACR39U-I1 CAC.

2)What happens when you try to connect the CAC Reader device?

Follow the troubleshooting steps and check;
Try installing the latest Windows 8 drivers for CAC reader and check.
I would suggest you to update the CAC Reader drivers from the Manufacturer’s website and check.
If the CAC Reader drivers are not compatible with Windows 8 Operating System, I would suggest you to try installing it in compatibility mode and check.
In case not able to update the drive I would suggest you to manually download and install the drivers from the Manufacturer’s website and check.
Follow the steps to install it in compatibility mode;
a)Press the ‘Windows key + W’ key on the keyboard.
b)Type compatibility in the search box and then press Enter.
c)Click “Run programs made for previous versions of Windows” option from the list appeared in the left side.
