I'm looking for a pdf reader that:

  1. Allows you to view two pages at a time side by side.

  2. Revit reader for mac. Allows you to crop your viewing area (ideally with an option to have two types of cropping for even/odd pages)

  3. Is free or requires only a small one-time purchase.

  4. Ideally is lightweight.

Any suggestions? So far I've tried Foxitreader (can't seem to crop), Sumatra PDF (can't do either (1) nor (2)), and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (which doesn't seem to let you crop unless you pay for the pro version, which is either $449, or a $14.99 monthly subscription.

I don't need any fancy features like cloud storage or annotation or whatever. I just want to be able to read my pdfs efficiently.

Edit: Just tried drawboard. While it's a beautiful app, unfortunately it doesn't let you crop, and it won't let me resize the the window that pops up when you want to view bookmarks, which ends up requiring a ton of scrolling (I'm reading a 5000 page document with lots of chapters/sections/subsections).

EDIT: Found one! Thanks to /u/gewruiaqhgeuiabghrey, Xodo fits all my criteria. What a fantastic app. It looks nice too. Thanks!
